675 KW solar system commissioned at Vadodara Airport
Goldi Solar commissioned a 675 KW solar project at Vadodara Airport, Gujarat partnering with Airport Authority of India. This was a turnkey project including working with street lights, SCADA, 11 KW Transmission Line, Evacuation at 11 KW with HT Bidirectional Metering.
The project was challenging as the site was surrounded by water clogged areas, and the security concerns were very high. Goldi was able to work through with solutions at every stage and completed the project within the stipulated timeline.
Financial and social impact
Electricity consumption before installation was 3.5 lakh kWh/month. The newly installed solar system generates about 1 lakh kWh/month reducing dependence to 2.5 lakh kWh. AAI has also been able to reduce CO2 emissions by 1093 T annually.
