Dhruv Dholakiya - Director

As a third-generation entrepreneur from a highly successful business family. Dhruv was raised with deeply ingrained ethics and principles. In keeping with his family's tradition of "Rupya ni Kadar" (the value of money), he was tasked with spending 45 days in a completely remote location, given only a minimal amount of money, and required to survive by taking up odd jobs and starting a small business. Dhruv spent this time in Kochi, working as a cleaner in malls, a waiter in restaurants, and also selling lime juice on a roadside footpath to support himself, before eventually joining Goldi Solar as trainee in all departments for years before eventually being appointed as director.

Dhruv has been pivotal in shaping the brand's identity and driving impactful marketing campaigns, ensuring that Goldi Solar stands out in the competitive solar industry. His strategic vision and dedication have significantly elevated the company's brand recognition and market positioning.

Over the past four years, Dhruv has made significant contributions to Goldi Solar in various capacities. His expertise spans International Business, where he has expanded Goldi Solar's presence in global markets, and operations, where he has optimized processes to ensure efficiency and excellence. However, his major focus has been on Brand Custodianship and Marketing. His passion and commitment towards making a better planet are evident in his professional endeavors.

Paradigm Shift Towards a Sustainable Energy Future is Crucial

India’s energy landscape stands at a crossroads, as fossil fuels currently cater to about 80% of the country’s electric needs. This phenomenon is escalating the dependence on energy imports, and according to studies, this will surpass 53% of total consumption by 2030. At this crucial juncture, solar is the fundamental force, playing a substantial role in the all-over energy mix. Solar power's environmental and economic merits are evident; 1 kW of solar power saves 77 kg of coal from being burned and 136 kilograms of CO₂ released into the atmosphere.
